What can I do if I’m getting too much trade business?

You can call the office and put your account on StandBy. Your business listing will remain on the directory with a StandBy flag, indicating to other members that you are not currently accepting trade at this time. When you are ready to get more business, let the TangiTrade staff know and we will remove your StandBy status.
 

What does it mean for a member to have a
Wait List status?

Call the office before reaching out to this member directly. The owner of the business has a waiting list for their goods or services. The business owner is requesting that they not be contacted directly at this time. Call the TangiTrade staff and we will give you more information about the status of the business and assist you from there.
 

What should I do if someone wants to charge me
part-cash or I feel the price is out of line?

Do not proceed with the transaction. Inflating the price or charging part-cash without first obtaining permission is explicitly against your TangiTrade agreement. Call your TangiTrade staff and explain the situation. If necessary, we will provide an alternative vendor for you. As a buyer, it is important to do your due diligence in getting competitive bids and researching the products and services before you make any major purchase.
 

Can I use my Trade Dollars in other cities?

YES! Our exchange is part of an ever-growing community of Reciprocal Trade Exchanges. Members of each exchange can trade with each other using their Member Cards. Check your Member Directory to see what vendors are available in other communities.
 

How can I manage my TangiTrade account?

You can manage your account online or with the convenient mobile app. Feel free to contact our staff if you're having any trouble accessing your account.
